'Rising Star ™' rose Description

Bloom:
Pink blend, white blending. White with pink edges. More pink in some climates.. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 1.5". Medium, very full (41+ petals), classic hybrid tea, exhibition, high-centered bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for container rose, exhibition, garden or rock garden. Hardy. vigorous. Blooms tend to ball in wet weather. prefers dry climates. Disease susceptibility: mildew resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
One of my early roses and still one people adore. Can be a great show rose in the right climate. Prefers dry weather due to high petal count. Can produce large trusses with several long stem blooms on each truss.
