HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

There is conjecture the R. Soulieana grown and used by Ralph Moore may be different from the traditional Soulieana due to its ability to produce repeat flowering seedlings in the first generation. There appear to have been one or two other repeat flowering, first generation seedlings raised from it, but in Mr. Moore's hands, they were more the rule, rather than the exception. See the photo posted June 5, 2016.

I would concur that Moore's putative soulieana differs as well, and wonder if a separate link for Ralph's putative... or "in commerce as..." would be in order. The species should have more glaucous foliage based on my readings, and the young stems typically would have a cool grey-blue bloom covering them. Moore's putative soulieana has stems that bronze in the sun, with none of the cool coloring. Another article making a similar argument can be found here:

Thank you Philip. We’ve opened a file for “ R. Soulieana - Ralph Moore’s putative version”.

Thank you, Patricia. These offspring then need to be moved to Mr. Moore's Soulieana entry, please? Thank you!

I recognize the oldest two images as belonging to Rogers Plants Ltd. (i.e. they are copyrighted):

Well, with Rogers Roses down, I'm almost wishing I'd kept my mouth shut! LOL. I really liked that resource, and notably, the way it grouped the species for research.
