Book (1991) Page(s) 85. Nola Simpson, New Zealand International Rose Trial Ground Awards. Trial No. 20. 1988-1990. 'Tequila Sunrise' (DlCobey) HT. The most notable feature of this rose is its colour and it certainly seemed to attract the public's attention in the trial ground. The blooms are a rich golden yellow with a red edging to the petals of very good substance, the shape is not all that it might be for a HT, as there is no height to the blooms and the centres are confused. Compact bushy growth habit, free flowering and makes a wonderful display in full bloom. Ideal garden or park bedding rose. Bred by Dickson, Northern Ireland.
