Abbiamo aggiunto i nome delle vostre rose al HelpMeFind. Ora puoi caricare le tue foto su ciascuno.

Hi, I emailed the New York Times article as a response to your email to me. It states that Siebrecht showcased the Belle Siebrecht rose and won awards for it in the United States. Have you made any further investigation? I doubt that someone would receive awards and name a flower after his child who did not cultivate the rose himself. I look forward to hearing from you.

There is a rose I haven't found in the HMF database. It is

Rose
'Tausendblümchen (Weigand 1906)

Source:
Rosenverzeichnis Rosarium Sangerhausen, 4th edition, 1988

I have a photo of the rose.

Best wishes

According to Nomenclature the information on this rose should be: 1915

Bred by Hendrikus "Hens" Antonie Verschuren (1844-1918)
(Netherlands 1915)
Hybrid Tea.
Light yellow, copper shading.

Unnamed seedling x Souvenir du Président Carnot

And I think, as my great-grandfather Hens had a number of descendants with the same name (and even the same initials)....it might be wise to adapt the credits of his roses to 'Bred by Hendrikus "Hens" Antonie Verschuren (1844-1918)'....just my insight arisen while writing our jubileebook
