There must have been two Old Gold roses around in the early 20th century, as the McGredy one is not a single.

I'm giving an update on this rose on today (1-28-25). I still have this rose in a large pot and it is doing well. it blooms occasionally and the bloom really is unique. It tends to curl back in on itself before falling apart. I am predicting the cupped look of this rose as well as its color to be more vibrant in the cooler seasons. Still very good disease resistance and nice vigor.
