This is a commonly seen climbing rose variety in Beijing's greenbelts. It features very bright orange-pink petals, with approximately 25 petals per flower, The size is around 7cm，and emits a strong fruity fragrance. It usually blooms in clusters

Thank you for your reply! I also doubt it was westerland before .but after a closer look the westerland has very unique leaves(thick, shiny, waved on edges). And leaves of this one does not look like that.
Petals of westerland has a special gold tone especially on the reverse, And the edge of the pedals are waved. And this one does not have that kind of gold tone, and the edge of the pedals are curly(like HTs) other than waves.

Regarding Rosanna Flower Circus, a.k.a., Veranda Jolie. She is new with me this year, in a container, and performing very well in spite of an unscheduled pruning by deer. Her blossoms are enormous affairs, with layer upon layer of petals; I can't believe the amount of energy she has to be devoting to them. She does have a light and pleasant fragrance, and nice glossy leaves. Lovely coral color. We shall see how she fares over the winter.

I recieved this beautiful potted miniture rose for Mother's Day. How do I identify the type of rose it is? and do I need to put it in a larger pot? Thanks.

Miniature roses always do better in a larger pot as they like to have their roots cool. As there are over 300 new roses introduced yearly, it is very hard to identify a rose accurately..

go to a rose show and take sevrel of that rose with u and ask a judges that there.

I know this thread is nearly 5 yrs old, however I too received a beautiful, small, red container rose in a plastic decorative pot for Mother's Day a few years ago. The pot was no more than 3-4 inches around. It wasn't doing well in the pot, so I planted it in the ground where it got morning shade and afternoon sun. It thrived beautifully. I planted alyssum around it and it was outstanding until we had our first big freeze. I never got the name of it though.
