Produces hips. One OP seedling so far. Smaller in diameter and more petals than Rouletii.

I have added your comments to the main page.
Your photo seems to be a little mottled. Has anyone considered
Bicolor (lawrenciana, Laffay, 1836) or
Jenny (Lawrencia, Unknown, 1836)

How did your OP seedling turn out? And did ever get anymore from Abbot and Burns?

Joe;
I was unable to raise it to maturity. I've had several micro type seedlings, but have found them hard to keep alive. One little mistake with water and disaster.

3 awards from 2021 Barcelona trials are missing:

- Most vigorous variety
- Most innovative variety
- Best flower

(I think we shall ignore the 1st “Virtual Rose” award as it was a specific award during the pandemic when some jury members were impossible to come judging)

The most vigorous variety is listed as the Association of Parks and Gardens Prize.
The Best Flower in 2021 was MR 933.
We have in the past not listed "Accessit" prizes, i.e. a runner up for the prize. Only in 2023 we introduced a generic Barcelona 2nd Prize award. This award category might be deleted in future - there were none accessits in 2024.

Ah yes, I ignored the word “accessit”. But still the highest prize - Barcelona prize (variety with the highest score) is missing.

We had it listed as Special Prize. Added Barcelona to the description.

Admins: When I go to sort by class, and then click the class I want to view in the right selection scroll bar, it goes to that class, but their are no roses present. In this case, I was looking at various polyanthas, but its the same for all classes.
