is this rose climbing? as there is conflicting information out there or does it just climb a little bit if given the oppurtunity, as it is a noisette halfblood just not as much as the mother.

love the cabbage-shaped flowers and their porcellain like translucence. their short durability adds a certain morbidity. the leaves are a bit lighter than standard rugosas which adds a certain sophistication too (probably a hybrid with an old garden rose but the parents are unknown). grows a little bit shorter than me in an upward diagonal fashion and does quite well on my sandy soil. never sets hips and the fragrance is underwhelming.
