Bonjour,

Amicalement,
Daniel

The World Federation site has no listing for 2020 trials at Rose Hills. According to "World Rose News" of June 2020 the Rose Hills trials in 2020 were cancelled due to Covid-19. The "Bloomables" site seems to be from Star Roses and shows practically only Meilland roses. We need some corroboration for this event, possibly a local publication.

I'd love to hear opinions from those growing this rose.

I absolutely love this rose. It's a continual bloomer with very cupped delicate-looking nodding flowers in the perfect shade of cranberry/cherry, a very strong sweet fragrance, good heat resistance, and is fairly healthy. Unlike red eden there's no issues with balling even though her flowers are very cupped. Good heat resistance for me but I'm in PA - summers are humid with temps averaging mid to high 80s, low 90s. The only complaint is her bush form is very awkward, like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. Very long pencil straight canes that shoot to the sky stiffly with little give and blooms shooting off of the tips like fireworks with long peduncles. I keep her tucked behind my porch railing facing south to hide her strangeness and let the flowers poke through
