Hello. I could be wrong, but I thought that we used to be able to search for roses by color of stamens (Jacqueline du Pre, for instance, has unusual red stamens), but I don't see that option in the advanced search. Am I missing it somehow?

Thanks
Emmie Gray

Sorry, we've never had that option as we do not record stamen color. Good idea though !

First of all - THANK YOU for getting back to me so fast! You're awesome. 8-)

So - I figured out where I saw that - it's on the CD that comes with Botanica's Encyclopedia of Roses! They have a 'red stamens' option, under which they have these roses: (in case you want to add this as a search option)
Auguste Gervais
Dairy Maid
Ellen Willmott
Emily Louise
Euphrates
Flair
Innocence
Ivory Fashion
Jenny Brown
Lilac Charm
Meg (the one I was looking for!)
Mrs. Richard Turnbull
Sonnenschim
Summer Wine

They also have a 'maroon/purple stamens' search, but I think those could be included in 'red', or 'reddish':
Dainty Bess
First Light
Fruhlingsmorgen
White Wings

Thanks again - Emmie (Andrea)
