hi - just curious ... don't remember seeing the 'my favourites' tab before. somehow there are entries for roses and a garden under my favourites not that they aren't all lovely, but, in fact they are not my favourites and i am not sure how they got there. nbd, as i said, just curious as to how they did get there and if there is a way to edit that tab, christie

i was thinking of this today as i did 'aphid patrol' and now i feel a little disloyal indicating that the roses listed were not my favourites.
mary rose had what appeared to be a huge lump of aphids; on closer inspection, mrose is absolutely loaded with buds - and so, when she blooms, mrose will, in fact, be my favourite (certainly for that day :)) funny tho, usually souv. st anne's is my first and last rose to bloom (i swear, she comes out of the ground bearing buds).
also due to the favourites button, i visited the site of a garden that i had not seen previously, and, a lovely garden it is.
but, i had also wanted to comment on the 'references' tab - it has been my loss that i had not actively investigated this feature previously. i spend hours researching roses on the web and anguish over placement - and right in front of me is this great feature 'references' with a font of information that i had failed to take advantage of. i should have known better given the calibre of the site and the wealth of information found elsewhere on hmf.
many thanks, christie
