Regarding the rose pictured and listed as Sombreuil, et al, would you be interested in a jpeg scan of the REAL Sombreuil? The correct name, in the "old literature" is "Madame de Sombreuil", a rather loose and open Tea rose. I have a very large coloured plate of it in Nestel's "Rosengarten", Stuttgart, 1866.

Thank you, scans of old rose pictures are always very valuable. This one, however, was already posted by member Billy Teabag last year.

Bob will be able to supply a better quality scan of this image than the one I posted, so what if i delete that one and Bob can replace it with the high resolution scan?
