I'm sorry but since the time I posted on HMF the deer have become a real problem. I have a website for deer-resistant plantss, www.deercountrygardens.com. If there are specific roses you are interested in, I may be able to help you as I have a few. Regards,Anne Haines

Do you still have the rose Madeleine Selzer aka Yellow Taudeschon? I've been trying to find a source of this rose for some time. Do you still do sales? I'd be willing to pay full price for cuttings if you don't have plants available for sale.

Hi all, I'm looking to identify an HT rose with possibly better scent than PB and in a more orange-pink tone. At least 5 feet tall, the ageing plant was growing against an exposed South-facing shed in Norfolk, UK prior to 2010. Its lightweight, colourfast blooms were borne on 5-7 inch very slim, prickly, green, peduncles of 2s and 3s as well as singularly. The lantern-shaped flowers, only 3.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall, kept their spiralling forms with rolled, reflexed petals (not flattening out into wavy discs like PB or 'Duke of Windsor') - until petal drop after 5-8 days from cutting. When placed in a vase of water the scent production was off the charts, of strawberry, raspberry, zero spice and a hint of lime. One flower could more than perfume a room. I invite readers to suggest what rose it might have been....?

Nice to have a red climber that does well in SF.

I'm in the Oakland hills where we get quite a bit of fog at night that settles here. I've got a spot that gets about 6 hrs sun in the AM, and shade in the PM. Based on your experience, do you think Florentina would do well? Thanks so much.

Hi! Yes it should do just fine. No more blackspot than any other healthy roses in our climate.
