Registration name: Bacchus (hybrid tea, Dickson, 1951)
Origin:
Bred by Alexander (Sandy) Dickson III (1893-1975) (United Kingdom, 1951).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1954 as 'Bacchus'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Flowers cherry pink.  Moderate fragrance.  25 petals.  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
