I had this rose for a number of years. I will bloom reliably with quality flowers of good color. It grew about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide in eastern North Carolina. It had no scent and did get black spot.

I consider it in the same class as roses like Olympiad. Well formed scentless red roses which need constant spraying.

I used it for breeding and it was both seed and pollen fertile. But I never attained offspring impressive enough to work with.

Overall ... the most interesting thing about this rose is its name.
