'Hilda Phillips' (H.T.). Raisers and distributors, Bees Ltd., Chester. In the opinion of the raisers, this variety is one of the best they have introduced to date. It is a seedling from 'Aureate' x 'Mrs. S. McGredy'. The colour is deep golden yellow and in the young stage the outside petals are crimson. The habit of growth is vigorous, with glossy bronze foliage. The blooms are well shaped and sweetly perfumed. Awarded a Certificate of Merit.
