Well, every year, somebody has to be the first to bloom. This year, out of 100+ cultivars, it was Cinderella. Welcome, spring!

I live in zone 5/6 in Missouri. How big does Cinderella get? Could it be used in the front border of a garden? Tucked in front of a fence? How much shade can it tolerate?

Frederick Maryland 7a It's small. It definitely needs to be in the front of the garden, but be careful it doesn't get lost. I have it in a pot. However, I see the picture of it in a garden in California and it looks very big there. I guess it depends on your location. Update- This rose did not make it through its second winter. We had freezing with no precipitation.
