I have two intersectionals, this and Bartzella. Bartzella has not produced any flowers in the 2 years I've had it. First Arrival produced 3 flowers in its first year. The foliage is slightly larger than Bartzella's but very attractive. The fragrance(at least on mine) is not very pleasant...almost peppery. The plant is very sturdy and can stand up to both heat and heavy downpours that damaged many of my other peonies.
