This peony came as a very small root, and just in the past two years it's to a size of a 3x3 shrub. The blooms are a lilac-cerise with lighter shading, and has a moderate musky-rose like scent.

If you look at Carsten Burkhardt's website, you will find there are two versions of this peony. The two Russian photos show a different plant, but the American photos show a peony with a center of very fringed petals.
