Stems are fairly stiff, though bloom is very heavy, thick-petaled bomb. An interesting raspberry color. Fragrance isn't particularly pleasing, but I don't recall it as being offensive. For the color alone I grow it, though it doesn't mix that well with other colors.

where can one get this peony? And what is the difference between a herbacous peony and a tree peony? Other than the prior losses its leaves. Is it hardier than a regular peony?
