'SAVamor' rose Reviews & Comments

A wonderful miniature rose with a gloriously heady lemon-rose-lychee fragrance far out of proportion to the diminutive size of the blooms. It can have a slightly awkward growth habit and often is wider than tall. It is susceptible to blackspot. But it is a mighty producer of perfectly shaped sweetheart buds that remain extremely fragrant until petals fall. It is lamentable that this gem—like many other miniature roses—has almost disappeared completely, both from commerce and from public consciousness. Burlington Roses might be the only known source as of February 2023.

I love this rose. It came in the mail blackspotted, but cleared up immediately after I mulched the pot with horse manure (has lime and potassium). It's thornless and doesn't mind the spring frost. The scent is absolutely heavenly. Its a weak grower and stays VERY SMALL in my zone 5a.

I was amazed at what a strong fragrance came from this miniature rose no bigger than my thumbnail. A new rose to me, it has already produced an ample amount of beautiful, very fragrant blooms. So far a strong grower with no disease issues. I'd say the same for Seattle Scentation that came in the same order. Very similar, just pink instead of the purple-ish hue of Scentsational. Basically, these two have "hooked" me on the miniature Scentsational line. Love them so much I've ordered two more!
