Japanese Peonies (albiflora)

Medium size, bright aster purple, midseason. Staminodes resembling normal stamens, purplish on the upper surface, with yellow edges and yellow filaments. Carpels smooth, with dark red tips; disk inconspicuous, red. Plant medium size, compact; flowers most attractive and held well above the foliage.
