Bloom is very beautiful, highly ruffled and full petaled, good size, rich yellow with some deep amber shading. It lasts very well in a vase, probably 3 times as long as Molineaux or Poets Wife and other non-florist yellow Austins. Plant is very shapely puts , especially beautiful during spring flush. There’s fragrance too, a moderate tea scent. I am still working on trying to get her to repeat better. Seems to want as much water as aquatic plant to stimulate new growth during the summer! But very rewarding in spring and fall, so definitely a keeper.
