'Smedby' ...Known in culture in Sweden since the 1940-1950s....Morphologically 'Smedby' differs from all other Gallica roses in the Pom study by its light pink petals with white spots....Its DNA-profile is nearest to 'Tuscany Superb' with a similarity index of 70,0%. Other close relatives are 'Hovby' and 'Amalica' with similarity indices of 61,9 and 60,0% respectively.
