Albiflora x Officinalis Crimson single This crimson single is a seedling of mine of many years ago. I have no recors of its parentage.

Buccaneer 1165 1924 June 4. A great flower. Pure officinalis type ( I wonder what I meant by that!) Single brilliant deep crimson. 7 inches. Slight ...agreeable fragrance. JUne 17 still fine.

This beautiful strain is characterised by the thick kid-like petals. The blossoms are palest flesh on opening & go to pure white later. The plants vary in height & in the size of the flowers, but the type is very uniform
