My garden in Normandy, 2016
Exuberant shrub,which grew larger and stronger than any other ancient roses of my collection. Lovely, fragrant, very resistant. Highly recommended!
Southeastern part of my house covered with roses. Photo taken on the 13th of July 2010. Roses seen in photo are : Coral Dawn, Rosenresli, Felicia, Louise Odier, Santana and Sympathie. The problem is to keep my windows free of the roses. Now this is of course a luxury problem which I hope will remain so. Besides, I enjoy watching the roses from the inside as well. I have my dining room here. So what could really be more satisfying than having the roses outside keep us company while enjoying a good meal inside?
"Raspberry Ripples", once-flowering rambler (was sold by Vintage Gardens as 'Flora' ["Raspberry Ripples"] but definitely a different rambler than A. A. Jacques' c 1830 rose of the same name), my Garden, Kittsee/Austria, June 2015;
