Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1984).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (post 1970) as 'Trojan Victory'.
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 1986.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, yellow undertones.  None to mild, damask fragrance.  50 to 55 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Spreading, upright.  Medium, dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 4½' to 5' (135 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
