Includes photo(s). ‘Anna de Diesbach’/’Anna von Diesbach’/’Gloire de Paris’ = Hybride Remontant – rose intense, remontant… bouton effilé… grande fleur double en coupe, d’un rose intense plus foncé au centre, de 10cm de diamètre… rosier, grand et vigoureux, refleurit jusquen automne. Le feuillage est vert glauque et les rameaux, robustes, ne sont armés que d’aiguillons modestes. L’obtenteur avait dédié cette rose à la fille de la comtesse de Diesbach de Fribourg en Suisse. The Journal des Roses says Lacharme "dedicated it to the daughter of the Countess of Diesbach, amateur rosarian of Fribourg, Switzerland."] Brilliant glossy pink... beautiful carmine pink with reflections... light crimson... produced by Mons Lacharme in 1849, he grew it for nearly ten years to study it well, he released it to commerce in November, 1858
