‘Café’ = Floribunda… Légèrement odorantes, très doubles et plutôt grandes… en bouquets… Malgré sa vigueur…, ce rosier bas et trapu, au feuillage vert olive, exige des soins attentifs pour conserver sa vleur de charmante curiosité. Kordes, 1956.

Cafe (Kordes, 1956).  A very unusual shade which might be termed coffee brown. The flowers are fragrant, double and fade to lighter shades when mature. Very vigorous, healthy growth.
