My two first year bushes produced many nice blooms that were of good size and well formed. I think it likes the warmer temps to open completely. The bush was healthy and vigorous.

UPDATE:Now in their third year, the bushes are really rounding into form producing loads of beautifully formed and colored blooms on very healthy and vigorous growing bushes. I highly recommend this rose for garden plantings and for exhibition purposes.

UPDATE:This fourth year has started well as both bushes sailed through a long very cold winter with a newspaper collar filled w/cotton burr compost for protection. The canes were all green well above even the protection I provided. I am expecting great things now that they are firmly established bushes and I don't think it will disappoint me at all.
