Bred by Jean Desprez (France, 1828).
Introduced in France by Sisley-Vandaël in 1832 as 'Noisette Desprez'.
Introduced in Australia by Camden Park in 1850 as 'Jaune Desprez'.
Class:
Noisette, Tea Noisette.  
Bloom:
Copper - yellow, lemon-yellow outer petals, pink shading..  Pineapple fragrance.  Strong, fruity fragrance.  60 to 70 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, cupped, quartered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 15' to 20' (455 to 610cm).  Width: 10' to 15' (305 to 455cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar.  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
