Would this fair well as a tree rose you think?

Here in England, Austins offer it as a tree/standard rose, and in photos I always think how nice it looks.. So I hope that answers your question,.. presumably it will do well for you in your climate..

For some reason I can't get the "buy from" nursery search to work on any rose I've ever looked at. Can you help?

We're not sure what you mean by the "buy from" search. Can you please give a specific example of what you are attempting to achieve and what happened.
To all HMF members; if you have an issue to report please be specific. Issues are resolved, or explained, the quickest if we can exactly replicate them ourselves.

You pull up a rose description, and across the top are tabs from "description" to "photos" to "buy from" (the last tab).
You click "buy from" where you will find ostensibly) nurseries offering the rose for sale.
There is a dropdown offering an option of distance or a map. It says, "These nurseries listed below both offer this rose and help support HelpMeFind through their sponosorship. Please support HelpMeFind by supporting our sponsors. Click the link at the end of list to view all nurseries selling this rose."
There is neither a link to click, nor a list with an end to it, nor any nurseries selling the rose. I assume the page is not functional but wish it were. Am I doing something I shouldn't or not doing something I should?

You know what? Never mind. I've done everything but draw you a map. I'll do without your answer.

It always works for me. if I click on Buy From for Grace, five nurseries in my country appear on the screen. if I change the country to US, only Rogue Valley Roses appears. Maybe you've been looking up roses not available in the US? Or something to do with your browser (of which I know nothing).

Thx, Margaret. At least I know it can be a functioning entity. My guess (from your response) is that the nurseries in my state don't participate. I appreciate your input.

It works fine for us. We tried using different options and it worked properly each time. Possibly you are selecting a country that does not have any suppliers listed with us ?
We of course would like to resolve this but unless we can replicate the problem there is little we can do and the only way we can replicate the issue is to run the exact same search which requires us to know each detail.
We've not received other reports of this problem so it appears to be unique to your situation/configuration but then again you might be the only one willing to take the time to report it. We appreciate that and we would be happy to continue researching the issue with just a little more input from you.

Would listing this as a 'florist's' rose mislead gardeners into thinking this was a good cut flower? Comments here and elsewhere suggest it is a poor cut flower.

The blooms are like Chrysanthemums or Dahlias
