I think the listing of Harkness here as a supplier is incorrect. They list a rose called "Continued Friendship" which does not at all look like "Golden Zest", and is a rose they bred at Harkness, which they call "Harpal".
Probably should be removed as a supplier of this rose.

the flower is very like golden celebration, but stays longer. can flower in small clusters.
very double with lots of petals. warm yellow with a little bit of gold tone, the color is very pleasant to the eye, and can match other colored roses easily.
the scent is strong and is half lemon and half cinnamon or some other spices.(which I do not like, I prefer the scent of golden celebration)
vigor is good.

This rose is certainly 'Golden Zest', syn 100 Idées Jardins.

This rose smells like black pepper in my garden. An attractive flower but the plant is lanky and highly susceptible to black spot
