R. gigantea hybrid; colour changes from bright red to purple.

This is a name thought up by Pat Henry of Roses Unlimited Nursery, who is the source for our roses in the U.S.A. As she kept looking at this bright clear red flowered plant, growing in a pot in her garden, she said she kept liking it more and more. She wrote to us asking if we would consider registering it as ‘Out of India’ as obviously that’s where it came from. We had no objection at all, indeed welcomed the name, so that is how this variety got its name.
