I thought this rose was very striking and beautiful when I saw it at Regan Nursery. Can anyone tell me about its disease resistance?

I'd like to know about Watercolors' disease resistance in warm climates, how well the blooms last in heat, and what size it attains in warm climates. Can anyone tell me?

Carolyn,
You might try using the "Gardens" tab to find HMF members growing this rose and use the "Comments" tab on their member page to ask them directly. That way we will send them an email notification about your post. Good luck.

I photographed this rose at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. It was a nice healthy bush with lots of blooms. I guess if we can grow it here in Texas, then it should do gang busters in California. We have hot weather during the day AND NIGHT, while your roses get to enjoy nice cool evenings. I know this because I was born in California and transplanted in Texas. I'd say - go for it!

I also saw this rose bush at SummerWinds Nursery in Silicon Valley, CA for $36.99. It was 18 tall and looking very shiny & healthy with numerous flowers & young buds! As many as the rose "Iceberg".
