I've always been puzzled when people have described various roses as having a raspberry scent, then I met this rose and I understood!

The scent to me is moderate-strong damask scent.

Tidbits of info for those interested, the breeder, Delbard, lists this rose as a floribunda that can also be a climber, with a vigorous height of 1.5 to 2 m (6.5 feet). The breeder code is DELgraros. I am growing it as a climber.

I bought my rose from Palatine. It's grafted onto multiflora. It's tall, maybe 7 feet. It's also healthy. It doesn't get black spot in the Southeastern United States.

I love the vigor and fragrance of this rose. I got mine from Palentine. I first learned about it from it being planted in St. Cloud, MN at the Virginia Clemons Rose Garden. It has been reliably crown hardy and grew vigorously rebounding each season and had well above average health compared to other roses in the garden. I'm so glad to have found it for sale to grow at home. The fragrance is wonderful! I have my two plants in large pots (10 gallon pots) and overwinter them under the cover of construction blankets with my other potted roses, but will try to get at least one in the ground this next year.
