Excellent rose option for the cold northern climate (Zone 4a). Drought tolerant, but will be twice the size and lush if it gets regular watering. The flowers change daily, ensuring that the rose looks different every single day of the season. Perpetual blooming.

Disease free in my eastern North Carolina garden.
Fertile as both a seed parent and a pollen parent.
Grew to be 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
Blooms are small and there are not enough of them produced for the size of the plant.

How disease resistant and blackspot resistant is this rose? Also has anyone grown this in hot climates?

Carlene, does Tennessee count as a hot climate? This is a pretty healthy rose for me. It doesn't flinch during long hot and humid spells or cold snaps in the spring. It rarely blackspots in my no spray garden. It's not a favorite of the local deer. The flowers are pretty but it does need to be deadheaded to look good. Be aware that the given size is only a guess. Mine is well over 5 ft. tall and is a thorny devil. Since I planted it in the front of the bed, I have to figure out how to move it.
