The Australian breeder Richard Walsh gave me this rose WALglory and said to name it for our grandson who since 21 July, 2011 when he was a 12 year old getting ready for school was struck down with a medical diagnosis of ‘Severe Life Threatening Epilepsy of Unknown Origin” in not being able to finish primary school nor attend high school. His nickname before he took ill was ‘Mr please and Thank you’ and now even on his darkest days he is still grateful to the medical teams that rescue him.almost every week.So I named this beautiful, joyous yellow rose ‘Loveable Lachlan’. It is virtually disease free and the bush is well clothed with foliage and blooms regularly.
