Frühlingsgold - Hybrid spinosissima (Joanna Hill x R. spinosissima hispida) large, semi-double butter yellow flowers borne on strong stems. Arching branches. A very vigorous shrub of exceptional beauty and very fragrant. Germany: Kordes, 1937.

Frühlingsmorgen - Hyb. spinosissima (R. spinosissima altaica x (Cathrine Kordes X E.G. Hill)) Described by G. S. Thomas as follows: 'the most exquisite of single Roses. Each bloom is a model of beauty, pink in the bud, opening to rich cherry-pink at the edges, soft yellow at the centre where there is a ring of maroon stamens. Late May and June and occasional blooms later. More compact than Frühlingsgold'. Germany: Kordes, 1942.

LADY MAISIE ROBINSON — H.T . ( Unnamed seedling × Peace . ) On the same lines as LADY EVE PRICE . The large , semi - double fragrant flowers are a warm rose - pink , deepening towards the edges of the petals . Excellent for cutting .

p. 139: Léonie Lamesch - Poly. Pompon (Aglaia X Kleiner Alfred) A very beautiful old variety which seems to have dropped out of the catalogues. The flowers are a light coppery red with a yellow centre, and are distinctly fragrant. Germany: Lambert, 1899.
