'White Masterpiece' HT. (Boerner, 1969). A hybrid of two unnamedl HT. seedlings. A fine white rose of good form and large size. Low bushy spreading plants. The blooms are often a little bit too big for good decorative purposes.

White Masterpiece HT. (Boerner, 1969). A low spreading grower. Plenty of petals for dual purposes. A few blooms, have split centres. Stiff stems, and it opens cleanly. The best white rose I have seen for many years.

White Masterpiece, a magnificent white rose, and fifth in the world-famous Masterpiece series. 'White Masterpiece' was especially bred to resist mildew and blackspot – J & P testers consider it to be the most disease-resistant white rose yet introduced. The most outstanding characteristic of this new white hybrid tea is its magnificent form; its large, lavish blooms, a full 6 inches across when open, are almost always exhibition quality. Each bloom is carried on a strong cutting stem nearly as thick as a pencil, and averaging 18 to 26 inches long. The partially quilled outer petals roll back delicately as the bud slowly spirals open, into a high-centered bloom with up to 60 thick, satiny petals of pristine white.  Large, attractive foliage covers the 3-ft. bush....glossy leaves form a perfect background to set off the glowing, lightly fragrant blooms. 'White Masterpiece', already a premium florist variety, is destined to be an outstanding show variety as well.
