'Harlequin' rose Description

Class:
Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.
Bloom:
Cream, red edges. Flowers cream white with reddish edges upper. Strong, wild rose fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, bushy, climbing. Glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 8'2" to 12' (250 to 365cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Can be used for garden or pillar. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
