Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1930 as 'Madame Nicolas Aussel'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Madame Nicolas Aussel'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Salmon-orange, carmine-red shading, golden-yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
