Medium yellow Tea.

Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1858).
Introduced in Australia by J. Graham & Co. in 1874 as 'Madame Falcot'.

Tea.  

Deep yellow, darker center, ages to light yellow.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium to large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.  Glossy, reddish-purple foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 5' (150cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  

Said to be similar to 'Safrano', but more double. 'Mme Falcot' in Europe and USA is not the original rose.
