Did you notice that bloom colors deepen with age? Have a first year bush and the color is more of a pale orange than the deep salmon in photos.

There is a climbing version of this rose, but should not the class for the bush version be "Polyantha" and not "Polyantha, Climbing"?

I am sure you are right and we have deleted the climbing class. The climber (in a separate file) didn't come along until 1962.

This is one of my favorite roses It is covered in blooms the blooms fade in the hot afternoon sun afternoon shade might help hold the color longer no scent but good vigor no blackspot problems so far

I FOUND THIS ROSE MARGO KOSTER IN SOUTH WEST FRANCE WHERE IT IS MORE A RAMBLING ROSE TREE WITH ALL THE CARACTERISTICS OF THE POLYANTHA MARGO KOSTER ; cAN YOU GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION ABOU THIS ROSE THANK YOU VERY MUCH NOEMIE

There is actually a climbing sport Margo Koster, Cl. (see HMF entry) which is sold by French nurseries. You must have seen this.

thanks for the answer. I am french; what does mean HMF? do you know the name of the french nurseries selling Margo Koster end especially the climbing sport ? I just saw this rose tree in villages butnobody could tell me where they comme from, so if you have an adress where I can find them in France I would be very grateful to you. Noemie
