Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1962 as 'Royal Highness'.
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1963 as 'Royal Highness'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Light pink.  Strong, tea fragrance.  40 to 45 petals.  Average diameter 5.25".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  

Upright.  Large, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 42" to 5' (105 to 150cm).  Width: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm).

USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
