Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1958).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1963 as 'Casino'.
Introduced in Netherlands by Jan Spek Rozen BV in 1965 as 'Gerbe d'Or'.
Class:
Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Light yellow to lemon-yellow.  Deep yellow bud, opening to light yellow or lemon.  Strong fragrance.  up to 42 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat, quartered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm).  Width: up to 8' (up to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar.  Prefers warmer sites.  suitable for a pillar.
