"Finest of the Ramblers", it suggests an improved 'Crimson Rambler' with lovely, small, dark crimson, very double (60 to 70 petals) flowers, singly or in clusters of 10 to 20 on short stems. Profuse bloom comes May into June, and the color changes with age but not unpleasantly. The soft smooth, small leaves are very different from those on 'Dorothy Perkins'. It is practically mildew-proof.
