‘Christine Grimpant’ = Grimpant à grandes fleurs…. robuste grimpant resplendit en juin d’une profusion de fleurs plutôt petites mais de forme parfaite, d’un jaune d’or intense et pur, délicatement parfumées. Many bright yellow Climbers have   come and gone since this sport was introduced in 1936.1 know of none to equal its golden display about midsummer. The best plants I know are on walls of houses; it is apt to go about half way up a two storey house.
