Own root Chrysler Imperial on the 2nd flush of the year June 28, 2022. It was transplanted from 40-50% shade to this full sun position this year, and the difference in the quantity and quality of blooms has been remarkable.

Great plant, blooms don't nod, healthier than many newer varieties. Splendid, rich damask type fragrance highlighted with citrus tones from the exotic foetida/Pernetiana heritage. Z5b/Sunset 41 South Central Michigan

Chrysler Imperial is the bloom in the foreground with the secondary bud. The bloom in the back (closer to mirror) is actually Chrysler's offspring 'Avon'. I'd never believe they were different varieties except having cut them from different plants from different sources and in possession of different habits of growth.
