This is really a lovely rose. The coloring is beautiful - swirlings of tan, mauve, pinkish tones. I plant this near roses of tan, brown, mauve, purple colors. It looks great near Hot Cocoa. The bush is strong and not prone to blackspot. An excellent cultivar - I have two - and can recommend this rose highly. I live in the lower South so cant comment on its cold hardiness, but it survives our winters, which can get into the teens, with ease.

Thank you for your comments on Coffee Country, one of our hybrids. If you have pics of it, perhaps you could put them up on HMF? We would like to see the colors it can get. We garden in southern India on a hill top.	REPLY

Correction: OOPS! don't know what I was meaning to say but disregard the comment relative to the rose being registered! This is a relatively new introduction well worth seeking out. I got my plant from Roses Unlimited. Good garden performer, continuous bloom. Lions-Rose looks coarse in comparison and so far isn't proving to be a good companion.	REPLY

Thanks Barbara. We are so glad that you like our Coffee Country. For us, depending on the weather it gets brown tints or lilac ones. The China rose in its parentage is not Cecile Brunner but an ancient heritage rose found growing throughout India. Probably a direct import from China in the distant past. At the time of registration, we were under the wrong impression that this was a form of Cecile Brunner. have subsequently found out that we were mistaken.
